Obstructive uropathy
Case report
83-year-old female patient with obstructive uropathy grade I with ureteral splint in place and 11 cm retroperitoneal mass in the left middle abdomen (DD lymphoma)
Case report ureterolithiasis
A 55-year-old male patient presented with abdominal complaints. Ultrasound demonstrates the left kidney with age-appropriate parenchymal thickness and normal corticomedullary differentiation. The renal pelvis and calyces are not dilated. Distally, at the level of the bladder ostium, a 6 mm ureteral calculus is present, associated with a positive twinkling artifact on color Doppler. The ureter is slightly dilated, measuring up to 10 mm proximally. Ultrasound findings are consistent with distal left ureterolithiasis (Ostium region bladder ground).
